Eight Days Residential Retreat on Trika (Kashmir) Shaivism

25th Dec. 2010. You are on the threshold of the forthcoming Christmas vacations. The lush green surroundings of Sanhyadri ranges, a small river streaming across, soothing sunlight, pleasant winter breeze flowing across the valley, a vibrant silence with an occasional chirping and singing of the birds nesting around! Absolutely the right atmosphere to be with your near and dear ones! In that if you could learn also while enjoying with them, then nothing like that……

What else could be the apt setting for having a welcome break and relaxing your mind from the daily routine? In that relaxed state it becomes easier to learn a deeper subject like Kashmir Shaivism which gives the ultimate knowledge of the science of liberation, given by the great spiritual Masters of Kashmir.

 
Syllabus: What is Trika or Kashmir Shaivism? Definitions - para, parapara and apara shaktis – Subjective, Cognitive and Objective energies. Four schools of thoughts of Kashmir Shaivism viz. Pratyabhijnya, Kula, Krama and Spanda, Attitudes of Seeker, Malas and Upayas, Ashtang Yoga - Yam, Niyama, Asan,Pranayam, Pratyahar, Dhyan, Dharana, Samadhi, Vak - para, pashyanti, Madhyama,Vaikhari, Sadadhvan, 36 elements of Trika, 32 States of Being, 7 Levels of Pramatri, 7 Levels of Turya, Different types of Kundalini Awakening experiences, SAUh – Dissolution of 36 Elements, Matruka Chakra, Pranapat, Shaktipat, Shivapat, Five mouths and Eighteen hands of Swachhandanatha, Pancha Kritya Vidhih of Lord shiva, Nine fold Grace.

Meditational practices: Chakrodaya, Ajapa gayatri, Uccara, Karana, Dhyana,Sthana Kalpana, Varna, Sandhikal Jagrukta, Nadisamhara Pranayam, Bhutajaya Dharana, Suprashant Pranayama, Bhuta Prathakatva.

Nestled in this beautiful natural setting is Srimad Rajchandra Ashram with all modern amenities, yet the serenity and simplicity of the Ashram environment maintained in the campus. An air-conditioned conference room equipped with audio-visual aids, a beautifully designed amphitheatre for evening programs, a dining area with natural surrounding and comfortable neat and clean rooms (2-3 or 4 occupancy) with attached bath and toilet.

Ashram Rules and Regulations:

1) Male and Female would be allotted separate rooms.
2) Only pure satvik Veg. meals will be provided.
3) The food timings are as follows:-

7.30 to 8.30 a.m. Breakfast

12.00 to 1.00 p.m. Lunch

3.00 to 3.30 p.m. Tea at Common Passage on the ground floor

5.30 to 6.30 p.m. Dinner.

Please note that Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be served at Dinning area. All the visitors will have to follow the rules and regulations of the Ashram and they will follow direction of the Office staff. Participants reaching early or staying late will have to pay Rs.1000/- per day to ashram for stay and food.

This Shibir will be conducted by Guruji Prem Nirmal. There will be panel discussions, Presentations by budding Masters and Question – Answer sessions daily.

Daily morning Holistic Health Exercises with Suryodaya Kriya and after dinner Bhakti is as usual the routine at every shibir.

Contribution: Please Note: The sacred knowledge of Kashmir Shaivism has no price tag - It is amulya! (Beyond price tag). You contribute only for your own Stay, food, camp arrangements and organising expenses, momentos etc. Please note that staying arrangement of male and female members is separate in this ashram and ashram rules regulations are to be followed strictly. 

Transportation to and fro Ashram is on your own. However some members will be hiring Sumo from Mumbai / Thane. Those who want to travel in small groups on 25th morning may share the expenses depending on no of people sharing the vehicle. Contact organizing committee members if you want to join any one such group for your travel.

How to reach Ashram:

90 Kms. From Central Mumbai on Khopoli - Pali Road (State Highway No. 92). Off Parli Village at Tambadman (Ghotwade Group Panchayat), Talluka Sudhagadh, District - Raigad (Maharashtra)

To reach the Ashram by Private Vehicle proceed from Mumbai by the Mumbai - Pune Expressway, exit at Khopoli (immediately after the Toll Point) and proceed on the Khopoli - Pali Road and after 14 km. take left turn from the Parli Village for Ashram (4 Kms from Parli).

This shibir will help you to experience Pranapat, Shaktipat, Shivapat on each day of shibir by doing a particular process based on Kriya Yoga and Kashmir Shaivism and will create lot of higher understanding to increase Awareness through the Kashmir Shaivism meditative methodology. In this Shibir all budding Masters will have opportunity to get trained to impart these experiences to others and share the understanding of Kashmir Shaivism.

New announcement: All budding Masters are requested to submit THREE topics for Presentation in the sequence of their preference. Each person will get a chance to do the presentation on any one topic. Presentation time: Minimum 15minutes; Maximum 30minutes.
The best three presentations will be awarded.

First Prize: Crystal Angel worth Rs.10,000/-.

Second Price: Crystal Sri Yantra worth Rs.5000/-.

Third Prize: Metal Sri Yantra on Turtle worth Rs.1000/-.

There are many consolation prizes in the form of books, crystals etc for best performance on every day. “The question of the day” will also get a special prize.
