Ten Points to Survive Six Months of Grand Cross


Grand Cross means various planets opposing each other and are also at 90 degrees that forms the cross!


1. Be in harmony with surroundings: Grand Cross is the time of conflicts so accept things, beings, and situations as they are! No need to resist, criticize, condemn or judge anything…Just flow with life and whatever it brings, have total acceptance of everything that life brings with its flow. You will save lot of your energy that otherwise goes in opposing! With this you will see that suddenly things start changing! Your unconditional acceptance of everything as it is; brings about the magical transformation that creates harmony in surroundings!!


2. Smile more often: Every time you face a conflict in a relationship or at work place, just detach yourself from within and Smile! Smile at every absurdity of ego! Keep smiling. Be a “Smile Millionaire”!


3. Guard against Ego tussles: Grand Cross is the time for greatest ego tussles! As Jupiter and Saturn oppose each other, there will be lot of power struggle everywhere. You may find many leaders exposed in every field. People who are not clear in their mind will get stuck because of status quo created because of opposing forces. Devotion, Bhakti, Surrender to Lord is the best way to keep off the ego tussles!

4. “Think Big” is not right: This is not the right time to “Think Big” or make it big! This is the time to consolidate wherever you are. If you are in a good job, and if you can continue, thank God! This is the time to balance!


5. Unconditional Love – Unconditional Forgiveness: If you face insults, ridicule, criticism… which is most likely because of opposing forces, learn to unconditionally forgive the person who has done harm to you. Offering unconditional forgiveness to everyone around including oneself is the best way to purify our heart. Only pure heart can love unconditionally. Love yourself; love everyone in your life. Love everything that is there in existence! With unconditional forgiveness and unconditional love, one understands that existence is whole, complete and perfect the way it is!


6. Be focused in your life: The wavering and wondering mind which is more like monkey may not allow us to focus on the right thing at right time and hence we land up in troubles. We need to learn to keep our focus on the job at hand, keeping our value system intact and alive. Every time your mind wavers, take a deep breath and come back to your point of focus!


7. Be in the company of wise ones as much as possible: In these conflicting times, company of the wise one is most preferred! Grand Cross offers most beautiful opportunity for us to see our “Blind Spots” and with the help of wise one; we can learn to come out of those blind spots. Company of wise one is the blessings of life!


8. Practice Kriya & Meditation regularly: This is the best thing to do and simplest of all. Make it a part of your life on day to day basis. Never miss it for a single day! Walk the path of purity and avoid outside dependency in your spiritual practices. Remember, dependency can invite exploitation.


9. Strengthen your wings of Awareness and Understanding: Practice ADP methodology you have learnt. Practice “Sandhikal Jagrukta” more and more through practice of “Ajapa Gayatri” Meditation. Practice it with every breath! This will continuously increase your awareness. Read scriptures and attend the Satsang with spiritual masters’ whenever possible. Go on increasing your understanding as much as possible and go on internalizing it.


10. Do your best and leave the rest to God: Do all that is possible for you, see that there is no lethargy in your system but when you hit the pillow, surrender to Lord! Do not carry your worries and anxieties to your sleep. Relax well and tackle each day as it comes, with great joy and enthusiasm!

Unconditional Love & Unconditional Forgiveness


Mahavatar Babaji, the Immortal Yogi of Himalaya is helping humanity to ascend to higher spiritual realms in 2012 and beyond and the ascension process will continue up to 2028. Those who are full of fear, anger, guilt, shame and such negative emotions… cannot ascend because of the sheer weight of these emotions which acts like binding chains tying up our feet! Negative emotions create very heavy karmic load that makes it impossible to ascend.

The current Grand Cross situation will throw various higher level challenges at us to test our Love for humanity as conflicts will be very heavy! Many immature people who are not willing to learn spiritual values will be torn apart from within and may go into deep depression during this period of coming six months as natural calamities like tornados, earthquakes and flooding will increase creating lots of emotional disturbances in monkey mind!


So what can we do to pass through this situation peacefully? Learn, understand and practice Mahavatar Babaji’s teachings of Unconditional Love and Unconditional Forgiveness!


First of all accept yourself as you are! You are unique!


Now look within and see the barriers to pure love. What prevents love to flow? Are there negative thoughts, negative emotions? Watch your thoughts and emotions with aloof attention, detach yourself from the garbage!


Wash away your negativity by doing kriya regularly and dive deep into meditation! More you learn to stay in zero state or vacuum state or thoughtless – No Mind state, more you will experience peace!


Look into your past hurts and humiliations, the deeper scars on your psyche. Forgive all those people who have done harm to you. Send love vibrations to all and include your enemies (if any!) in your prayers. When you forgive unconditionally, you unburden your heart! You will be the most benefited person in doing so!!


Change your attitudes and be more positive. Radiate positivity and unconditional love! Be in harmony with surroundings. Love Mother Nature (prakriti) and take care of mother earth. Be in a state of Love, always! Become love!! Pure Love!!

Sun Yoga – Kriya Yoga Camp at Kolkata


22nd June is the Birthday of my dear friend Sun Yogi Umasankar and every year on this date the camp is organized at Lachipur – Ghatal. I had been lucky to visit this place for the second time and I am in love with it. The Camp started on 18th and went on till 21st June at Ghatal Municipal Guest House.


Every morning 4.30am to 5.30am was the time for Agnihotra. It is a wonderful practice of fire ceremony where cow dung cake with Ghee is used for lighting the fire and rice is offered is ahuti (offerings) with mantras. It is followed by 15 minutes of meditation on fire! A perfect way to start a day!


5.30am to 6.30am was the time for Holistic Health Exercises. It enhances Aura and vitality by increasing Prana Shakti. It is followed by Suryodaya Kriya that helps to balance Panch Pranas and Panch Tattvas. The elements of Catharsis and Laughter therapy were added to add fun to it. People from various parts of the world enjoyed it!



6.30am to 8am was the time for Sun Gazing. Most of the participants were regularly practicing sun yoga and everybody enjoyed it very well. See various steps of Sun Yoga Meditation here. http://www.sunyogamalaysia.webs.com/



It was followed by breakfast and then one more round of sun gazing for advanced students! It was followed by lecture – Presentation by Sun Yogi Umasankarji where he explained in detailed manner the importance of Sambhavi Mudra, its angles and how with regular practice we can perfect it.


He also shared in detail about 29 Chakras and the secrets of creation of universe, the knowledge he got from Mahavatar Babaji while in solitude for 600 days at Tapovan, above Gangotri, Gaumukh. It was a great learning experience for all.

Lunch time everyday was good for gupshup too!


Evening sessions stared with eye-to-eye meditation for 30 minutes and many participants had nice experiences during these sessions.


It was followed by Kriya Yoga sessions where I shared many secrets of Kriya, how it works and how it leads a true seeker to enlightenment. We also practiced various kriyas during these sessions. On day two I did presentation on “Soul’s Journey” and last day it was the presentation on 2012, the most interesting topics for all! All the talks were translated into Bengali language for local people. The day ended with learning and healing with Acupressure techniques.


On 22nd June which is the Birthday of Sun Yogi Umasankarji we all went to a small village by name Lachipur where he was born. A beautiful four floored 48 rooms Universal Peace Centre building is coming up with the help of all the sun yoga practiceners. After regular practice of Agnihotra, Kriya yoga and Sun gazing, the program started by Andi Hati Baba from Switzerland lighting the lamp and it was followed by sharing of experience of this camp by all the participants. Ms. Sofia Norgren and Henric Hemmerlind from Sweden, Dr. Suresh Ramasamy and Yuga Shanthi from Malaysia, Jyoti and her son Vikram from Lukhnow , P. Kalinga Reddy, P. Jayantkumar and Shankar Lingam’s families from Hyderabad and Warangal and many from Lachipur and Ghatal shared the wonders of Sun Yoga! It was followed by distribution of Plants to all, Books to students and Clothes to needy.



The program ended by release of the book “Autobiography of Sun Yogi” the latest publication by Universal Peace Centre in English.


The most interesting experience of this event was meeting with Sun Yogi’s Mother. She is also his Guru as she initiated Umasankar and guided him in his journey with lots of love. We all felt unconditional love in her presence!


One more high point of this tour was meeting with Mr. P. Kalinga Reddy, a farmer from Warangal who, while traveling by Rickshaw, suddenly perfected his Khechari Mudra. His tongue goes perfectly behind uvula, pushing the uvula in front! He experiences nectar drops (amrit bindu) that has done much good to him. His high blood pressure, Diabetes, heart problem and various other minor diseases are cured. Not only that, he has also started growing hair on his bald head! This is real wonder of perfected Khechari Mudra!


On the last day we all went for sightseeing around Kolkata. In the morning we visited Kamarpukur and Jayrambati the birth places of Ramakriahna and Sharda devi.



In the evening we visited Yogada Satsang Society near Dakshineshwar and had wonderful meeting with Sw. Shantananda, Sw. Nigamananda and Sw. Gaganji.



From there we went to Kali temple at Dakshineshwar and had wonderful boat ride on Ganges to and from Belur Math and rushed to airport to reach home back! What an event!!
